SD Central crashes when checking for SDC upgrades

I had to change the upgrade check directly in the registry so that I
could get into SCD in the first place. I downloaded latest stable form
the net and installed that, but the problem was the same as with my
previous beta, rc whatever version I started to have the problem with.

So with my X2 machine at home I can't keep the check for upgrades when
SDC starts setting on because it crashes when checking new version at
startup, here at work everything works fine

Is there a log file or something I can get more info from?

Exactly which point does SDC crash? Can you send over the crash address or a
screen shot showing the crash?

Also, which build are you updating from (check Help > About)?
