SDC not showing thumbs after a while

would someone please answer this. how come SDC always seems to stop showing
the thumbnails while browsing skins after a while, and i have to shut down
SDC and restart it? it makes it very frustrating to re-skin my desktop

I can only say that I see the same thing. Frustrating. I often use the
Large Preview, just to see what a skin looks like.

Are you talking about within the Skins and Themes section? What
version/build of SDC are you using?

Specifically which library are you browsing when this happens? Can you tell
if its simply stopped downloading altogether (check your internet activity)
or is it busy doing something but simply not showing any preview images?

it will do it on any library. i still have connectin, i can hit refresh,
and it will download the library update, but won't display the thumbnails.
i have to close out and re-open it to see them. once they stop displaying,
doesn't matter which library i pick, they don't show.

I'm another culprit in this problem. It's never been anyone library. I can
be viewing a library, switch and then no thumbnails. Click on any library
and none of them show thumbnails anymore until SDC is restarted. Doesn't
happen that often for me but it does happen.

i don't want to be an ass, but sometimes it's almost easier to goto the
website, becuase i have to reload SDC so many times to get everything
skinned, almost like having the skin browser is a different advantage.
actually, i wonder if i get the same problems with the skin browser, or if
it just happens with SDC. i'll try that next
