Generic Icons in SDCentral

Hi,

I've had this problem for months, but am just getting around to asking
about it.

In SDCentral, I get a generic Windows icon for all apps and forums.
I.e., in the left-hand forum pane, all icons (Object Desktop, Games,
Misc, Free Stuff, etc) are the same generic icon. Same deal for the
individual apps within each forum. I _just_ noticed that if I change
the view to Large Icon, I can see the proper icons in the app pane (but
not the forum pane).

Any idea what's going on here? I would like to reset these. I've tried
uninstalling and reinstalling SDC, but it made no difference.

Thanks for any tips.

Sounds like your default icon association has been replaced. Please load up
IconPackager if you have it installed and select the Tools > Repair Icon
Images option. That should fix your problem?

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I tried that previously, and it didn't help. Now, strangely, after a
reboot, Windows said it restored some corrupt registry settings and
presto change-o! She vorks!
Go figure. I guess all I had to do was ask...

Thanks for your response, though!
