SDC updates, Grrrrr

Okay, how about a solution for all of us that get Daily notices of a new
2.30 build of SDC but then when I launch SDC, nada in the way of upgrades
to it so I sit at 2.24a(b). I know some suggested uninstalling SDC then
redownloading it and reinstalling it again but it just seems there should be
something simpler and less of a pain than that.

I've just redownloaded it from Stardock.com (got 2.30.376), and installed it
on top. Picked my existing settings up (inc serial). It then notified me
of 2.30.379, downloaded that, restarted app and that's it. Worked fine.

Thanks, that did the trick. Got scared for a sec cause the 1st time I ran
SDC it and told it to update from 2.30.379 after I did the DL and install
over old version I got an MSHTML error. Restarted SDC again and that time
updated to the latest NP. Again thx, seems like in the past you had to
uninstall/reinstall and this is much smoother way to fix the hinkies

On both the 2.30.370 and 2.30.380 versions I get a timeout when checking
for new skins.
The check for Updated skins works fine.
